Here at the Harrogate Group, we pride ourselves on providing bespoke finance options that can help businesses across the UK and around the world achieve their goals with the minimum of fuss. These financial solutions don’t just make things better for the companies in question, but also for local communities. Property development ventures mean an influx of jobs for local workers and contractors, not to mention an increase in passing trade for nearby shops, cafes, and other local facilities.
One such project is taking place in Birmingham. Starting this year and looking to conclude in 2025, it will provide a boost in local jobs while also renovating a pair of historic Grade II Listed Buildings and giving them a new lease on life.
The properties in question is the Murdoch Chambers and Pitman Building, formerly owned by Birmingham City Council. Dating back to the 19th century, these impressive buildings have long been part of the Birmingham landscape but are in need of repair and refurbishment if they are to continue playing a role in the city.
Facilitated by a bridging loan of £4.5 million from the Harrogate Group, MP DevCo Ltd is proposing to do exactly that. The company is a joint venture of Trigram Properties and Regal Property Group and has big plans for the site.
